Faith vs. Unbelief

In Matthew 17:20, when the disciples couldn't heal the demon-possessed boy, Jesus told them it was "because of your unbelief". They had faith in their authority in the Name of Jesus to take action toward healing, but it didn't manifest because of their unbelief. If we look at the parable of the sower in Mark4:19, Jesus talks about the seed being sown among thorns - worries of this world - and being choked out.

When we focus our attention of circumstances and all the things we can possibly choose to worry about, it chokes out the Word. That is unbelief. While we might have faith in God to take positive action in a certain instance, if we allow the cares of this world to become dominant, we won't reap victory because we have allowed unbelief to take over. This is one reason why we are told to meditate on the Word day and night (Joshua 1:8). We need to get enough Word and truth in our eyes and heart so that it comes out of our mouths at the instant we get an attack from the enemy.

Since I have been going to healing school, some of my symptoms have gotten worse! It's typical of a cornered animal to fight harder when it realizes it has no way out. So, I will bump up my confessions of healing even more and continue to speak out loud to those symptoms and demand that my body lines itself up with all the Promises that are yes and Amen for me! (1 Cor 1:20). How long will I do this? Until healing manifests and for the rest of my life!

His Word is Health and Healing

Most people know that Brother Hagin had the gifts of healing operating in his ministry. God moved in a mighty way through him! Recently at one of the healing sessions, they (Rhema Healing Center) were playing one of Bro. Hagin's classic healing DVDs. He was talking about pastoring a church for 12 years and that his congregation continually and consistantly got healed of various disease conditions, however, the gifts of healing never operated for his congregation; they got healed simply by staying in the Word. When they had revivals and seminars and other people would come to visit his church, many times the Holy Spirit would move in miraculous ways and those visitors would have amazing healings! But, those amazing, instantaneous healings never happened for Bro. Hagin's people.

This struck me so profoundly. I have often taught my patients about the power of the fundamentals. I would often say to them, before we go at this problem from an allopathic viewpoint, let's make sure you have all your basics covered. Do you get enough rest, pure water, exercise, veggies and fruits, good, whole food supplementation, and good nerve flow? Are you thinking the right thoughts? Many times people see that they have slipped up in one or more of the essentials for health, and once corrected, their problem starts to resolve.

God's Word is "life to those who find them and health to all their flesh". Proverbs 4:22 It is as essential as eating and breathing. As often, or more, as you are applying the natural healing laws, you must apply the spiritual healing laws. When you are constantly and consistently feeding on the Word, it restores and heals all your flesh. AMEN

"In consistency lies the key. " The Holy Spirit to Gloria Copeland

We are bombarded 24/7/365 with satan's lies of sickness and disease. We must constantly and consistently counteract that by meditating on God's Word healing.

Healing Journey

I am excited about being in the "Bible Belt". We have so benefitted from Brother Kenneth Hagin's ministry over the years, and are now attending Rhema.

As some of you might know, Brother Hagin was healed from two terminal illnesses as a teenager and that is what catapulted him into his healing ministry. He started Rhema Healing Center back in the 70's.

I have a couple of health challenges I am believing to receive my healing for, and have decided to go to the Healing Center every day for at least two weeks straight. I have "before" x-rays on my left knee and my spine and will someday show "after" x-rays of new joints in those areas!

I also am doing a home course from Kenneth Copeland Ministries called "Lifeline Healing Wellness".

Please stand in agreement with me for the complete manifestation of my healing! I know God is faithful and has already done His part. I'm am bumping up my committment to do my part.

Thanks! And, I will be journaling my progress!

Psalm 103, Psalm 91, Psalm 107, etc, etc, etc. God is sooooo good!

Seek God First

God knows what you need in every circumctance, including the healing of your body and soul. That's why He gave us an owner's manual! When faced with a health challenge, seek God first for the answer. 2 Kings 20 shows us through Isaiah the prophet and King Hezekiah the importance of making counsel with God our top priority. Your healing journey most likely will be different than someone else's. Sometimes it's a matter of forgiving a family member, other times it's a diet and lifestyle change. Often it's a combination of approaches. Living a Matthew 6:33 (Seek first the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things...) life takes practice; like developing any good habit. Especially when we have a little bit of education on a matter, we tend to go to that educated knowledge first, instead of seeking God's wisdom and truth.

Ask God first what to do in the situation. Then do what you know to do in the natural, applying sound healing advise from the qualified people or sources. That will give God something to work with as you apply your faith.

May you walk in the Blessing of good health!

Imaginations and Hope

I heard a story about a woman whose vision was so bad that she wore glasses as thick as the bottoms of coke bottles. She had been prayed for so many times, that when yet another evangelist was coming to her church, she did all she could to avoid him. But, he finally cornered her and wanted to pray the prayer of faith so her eyes would be healed. After he laid hands on her and prayed, he asked her, "can you see?" She started to open her eyes and he stopped her. "No! Don't open your eyes. Can you see?" He asked her, "Can you see yourself seeing in your imagination?" She spent some time developing that image in her mind and when she could finally see herself seeing, she opened her eyes and her vision was normal.

We must see ourselves healed before it can manifest. What we can believe and see (on the inside), we can achieve. The Word tells us that "Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty before God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
If you do a study on the word "imagination(s)" in the Bible, you'll find that most of the references are negative. God is telling us about the evil, negative imaginations of man. That's where most peoples' imaginations tend to go; to the bad stuff. That is why the God tells us to keep the Word in front of our eyes,  and in our mouths, and in our hearts "night and day" (Joshua 1:8, Romans 12:2). We are bombarded with negative stuff 24/7 and we tend to dwell on it instead of meditating on God's will for us.

In working with sick people, I often tell them, "Please DON'T go to the internet and start looking up all your symptoms and diagnoses. You don't want those images in your mind. You want a positive, healed image in your mind to work toward."

Building your faith for something starts by finding out God's will for you in that situation, then building up your hope - real, Bible hope - positive image. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of that hope. It is a real thing! It is as real as any other physical substance; the amplified calls in the "title deed".

Athletes who rehearse their performance or routine in their mind get almost as much benefit as physically rehearsing it. The mind is that powerful! It takes time to develop. But, once you have it on the inside of you, it's unstoppable!

Natural Methods

Jesus healed all who came to Him in faith for their healing. While most of the time He rebuked each spirit of infirmity, in some cases He used what we would call "natural methods". In Mark 7:33 and 8:23, he used His spit to assist in healing a blind man and a deaf man. In John 9:6, he used mud to help a blind man regain his sight.

God always meets us at our level of faith. He also gave us natural laws and guidelines to live in this physical world. If diet was not important, He wouldn't have given instructions for it. Asking God for wisdom in our specific situation is the most important thing (Proverbs 4:7), because everybody's journey is different. God might direct you to change your diet while someone else might be moved to attend a specific Word convention. Many times, it is a combination of many things because there is rarely one cause for our infirmities. Even though every seed for illness comes from the curse, activating the Blessing in our lives starts with the Word and as we take single steps forward in faith, God lights the next one and the next one and the path becomes clearer. Giving God something to work with starts with us taking natural, physical action as we are standing on the Word promise for that particular situation.

I have begun to explore the different healing oils used in the Bible. I will keep you posted on my progress and discoveries!

On Judgement

This morning when I went to take the dogs out at 6 a.m., I got quite a surprise! I opened the main door and before I was able to open the (glass) storm door, Rosetta and Josiah started barking violently! There was a huge black Labrador retriever standing there! I closed the main door as quickly as I could and quickly tried to quiet my doggies down, as I was sure by then they had woke the whole household! It's never fun to be startled awake, especially when it is still dark outside!

The black lab is one of our neighbor's dog, Stormy (aka Drake). The dog is adept at getting out of the yard and frequenting our yard. For the last month or so, our neighbor has kept Drake tied up to a tree, but apparently he escaped.

After I took Drake back, I started to get into judgement about the dog's owner and IMMEDIATELY a voice in my heart said, "Thank You, Father God, for all the times I was unconscious and lazy in my actions. Thank You for forgiving me." Boy, did that stop me dead in my tracks!

Now, we all have millions of thoughts everyday, some of God and some not. We are to cast those that are not of God down and cause them to come into submission to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor. 10:5). We are also to try every spirit whether they are of God (1 John 4:1-2). Well, I know this thought was of God because it is in alignment with the Word. In Matthew 7:1-2 Jesus says, "Do not judge, lest you be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured unto you" (NAS).

What does judging others have to do with health? (I'll tell you, but first let me say this: it is so awesome to me how science continues to validate the things God tells us in His Word.)  All emotions cause the body to release chemicals in the blood. They come in the form of hormones and neurotransmitters. The science of it is very complex, but suffice to say that positive emotions, loving thoughts, joy, kindness, laughter, etc. release "happy hormones", and feel good chemicals like certain endorphins. ((Most people have heard of the "runners high".) Negative emotions like anger, grief, resentment, unforgiveness, etc. release pro-inflammatory chemicals that lead to health problems. When these negative emotions become habit and are a long-standing part of us, they can lead to many chronic, degenerative conditions like heart disease and cancer. Drs. Ted Morter, Dean Ornish, Richard Schultz, and many others have done research on the connections between emotions and physical health.

"The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I have come that they might have life, and might have it abundantly." (John 10:10)
"The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death." (Romans 8:2)
"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23)

Science can now explain how long term anger, unforgiveness, impatience, faithlessness, hatred will steal and destroy your good health over time. Stay in alignment with the Word of God by developing the fruits of the Spirit and allow Jesus to give you abundant life and health!

Speak the WORD to overcome negative thinking

I love what Brother Kenneth E. Hagin once said, "If a bird lands on your head, don't let it build a nest there."

He was talking about how thoughts come into our minds and that we have a choice whether to let them stay there or not. Thought can be very powerful. They can produce emotions, which produce a mindset, which can produce actions or habits. They can lead down a positive, Godly path, or a negative, wicked one.

Worriesome or negative thoughts can be deblitating and even paralyzing. If they have been plaguing you for a while, they can seem almost impossible to overcome. Thank God He has given us a way to get over those attacks from the enemy.

First we must realize their source. In Acts 10:38 it says that, "...Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by the power of the devil..." (amplified) Satan oppresses and harasses people in different ways, one of which is through negative thinking. Paul was harrassed by Satan (2 Corinthians 12:7) "to keep him from being excessively exalted". Satan knows you have a mighty job to do for God and has made it his mission to stop you. One great way is to attack you in the mind realm to get you to believe you are a pathetic loser, weak and unable to do what God has called you to do. If he can get you to focus on the lie of the enemy, then you are unfocused on God's opinion of you and the truth that you can "do all things through Christ and His anointing which strengthens you". So, negative, unproductive, destructive thoughts are from the devil.

Now, remember we have power and authority over that defeated worm, satan. Genesis 1:28, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Mark 11:22-24 all tell us that we have the authority to cast Satan out! We have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) and satan and his lowly thoughts do not belong there! And yet, they come! That's why the Word tells us to renew our minds DAILY (Romans 12:2), and meditate on the Word DAY AND NIGHT (Joshua 1:8), and to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). If we are constantly and continually filling our minds with what the Word says about us, we give no place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27)

In conclusion, we can overcome those destructive negative thoughts. We first recognize that they are from satan and they have no place in us; we have the mind of Christ. Then we use our authority to cast them out in the Name of Jesus, ordering them to be obedient to the knowledge of Christ. Then we replace them with what God's Word says about you. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21)!

The Word is the Best Place to Start

I just fininshed watching the documentary "The Beautiful Truth". It is very informative, and can be a bit depressing if you allow it to be. It covers some history of who and why our country became so full of chemical toxicity and the systematic ways that information on natural healing methods are suppressed.

As a practitioner in natural healing, it can be overwhelming how much information there is to stay current with. There are constant studies on nutrition and how it affects our health. There is only so much one can do; we live in an increasingly toxic world.

God know this would happen because He is omniscient. When dealing with health of our physical bodies, it's no different than any other subject: What does the Word say about it? Any time we have an issue or problem, as Christians we should go to the Word first. Then, when we apply Joshua 1:8 to that Word, God reveals to us what steps we need to take to get results with that particular scripture.

Here are a few of my favorite Words or healing:

Psalm 107:20 - He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.
Psalm 103:2-3 - Bless the Lord, of my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases.
Proverbs 3:1-2 - My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years (of a life worth living) and peace they will add to you.
Matthew 8:16-17 - And when evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill in order that what was spoken through Isaish the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, "He Himself took our infirmities, and carried away our diseases".

Not sure what to title this

This has nothing directly to do with Healing, but I thought it was worth saying.

I came upon some YouTube videos of newscasts that were speaking poorly of some televangelists whom I happen to like. The reporters themselves and some people they had interviewed were giving their opinion of whether what they were preaching was right. Mostly the reports were speaking against the prosperity message.

The bottom line for me is this: We are all responsible to learn what the Word of God is saying to us. Pastors and preachers are here to help guide us but we should know enough Word to know if what that preacher is saying is scriptural or not. After that, it's "done unto you according to your faith" and that's between you and God.

Help with Food Addictions

Addictions are tough; no two ways about it. I find in my practice that many people are addicted to sweets, or caffeine, or sometimes salty foods. Whatever a person's weak spot is, it can be very challenging in the natural to overcome that stronghold. Be encouraged! God has given us the Word to overcome this problem.

God wants us to, "Come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16). If we know what's right for our bodies, but are doing the opposite, we are in sin (James 4:17), and our own heart condemns us (1 John 3:20). It's hard to come to your Father for help when you have these issues, so here are some great Words of Wisdom and help...

First, God already knows what you are going through. 1 Corinthians 10:13 tells us that "No temptation has taken you but such is common to man; but God is faithful, Who will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with that trial will also provide you a way out so that you may be able to endure it".
He tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 that, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh for the weapons of our warfare are not human weapons, but are made powerful by God for tearing down of strongholds, casting down every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." Every action starts with a thought, and this is where the stronghold begins. As soon as we get the thought to eat or drink the thing that we know in our hearts is not God's best for our body, we AT THAT MOMENT must cast it down with our words! It is a mountain in our lives and we must speak to it! Jesus says, "Have faith in God. Verily I say to you, whosoever shall say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea' and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he says comes to pass, he shall have it". (Mark 11:22-24)

So, your prayer might go something like this, "In Jesus' mighty Name, I speak to this mountain of chocolate addiction! Get out of my head, out of my body, and out of my life! I cast you down and command that you, my body, get in line with the Word of God! Psalm 103:3-5 says that God satisifies my mouth and desire with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagles! I receive it right now! I thank you, Father, that I have a desire for healthy foods that you provided for me in Your kingdom! I receive my healing right now according to 1 Peter 2:24, in Jesus Name, Amen!"

He goes on to say that when you are praying is when you are receiving what you pray for, because you are believing and having faith the moment you pray about it! We know that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the EVIDENCE of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1) Your faith in that moment, if you truly believe the Word of God and do not doubt in your heart, is the evidence that what you prayed about and asked for will come to pass. God is faithful and WILL perform as promised (Romans 4:21).

Next, as we go throughout our day, we need to line up our words with what we prayed about. We can't go around saying, "I'm addicted to chocolate, I just can't get through one day without it". That cancels out what we just prayed about! Instead, when tempatation comes, we say, "Satan, get out of my head! You have no authority over me! I am a child of God and I already cast this thought down and out of me! By Jesus' stripes I AM HEALED and I crave and feed my body only healthy foods!

Bless the Lord, He has given us help! I know that speaking the Word to the problem is a habit that needs to be developed, but with persistance, you will do it! Be healthy!

Hearing His Voice

Hearing God's voice and knowing that it is really Him speaking to you comes from spending time with Him. There is a reason why Joshua (Joshua 1:8) was told to "meditate day and night" on God's Book of the Law. We are told in Romans 12 to "renew our minds" to what God's Word says.

In a world where we are bombarded with voices from every angle, it is vital that when we hear the One Voice that really counts, we KNOW that it's Him. He will never mislead us. He is always there to guide us when we need it. The challenge comes if we aren't sure it's Him when he calls us.

This is an important aspect of creating good health in your life. What you should eat and not eat might be different that what your sister or neighbor should eat and not eat. The exercise that is right for you might not be right for me.

In my chiropractic practice, I do a lot of  "muscle testing". It is a technique where I can challenge a strong muscle with a substance like a food, or a nutritional supplement, or a thought and your body will respond. It is all very scientific and I won't go into that here. My point is that in my experience, the more time you spend with God, the less you would have a need for muscle testing. The Holy Spirit guide us into all truth and to show us things to come (John 16:13).

God put doctors on this earth to help guide us with their learned knowledge and wisdom. But, God is the Great Physician and will ultimately guide each and every one of us along the path we should go (Jeremiah 17:17).

The Many Names of God

When God told Moses to tell Pharoh that, "I AM sent you", what was God saying? He was telling Moses Who He is. Who God is is included in His seven redemptive names. They really speak for themselves:

Jehovah Tsidkenu - The Lord Our Righteousness (Jeremiah 23:6)
Jehovah Mkaddesh - The Lord Our Sanctification (Leviticus 20:8)
Jehovah Shalom - The Lord our Peace (Judges 6:24)
Jehovah Shammah - The Lord is Present (Ezekial 48:35)
Jehovah Jireh - The Lord our Provider (Genesis 22:14)
Jehovah Ropha - The Lord our Healer (Exodus 15:26)
Jehovah Nissi - The Lord our Banner (Exodus 17:15)

When we have a need, we can call on the Name above every name to guide us down the path of victory!

Today

I will

Meditate on

Eternity

God's Word is eternal. His Word is truth. What you choose to focus Your thought, faith, and action life on is what you will have. How much TIME do you spend pondering the circumstances of life versus meditating on God's Word, His truth, for your life? Since God's Word is truth, then any circumstance in your life that is contrary for God's truth, the highest truth possible, must be an untruth. Something that is untruth will be found out eventually. The physical world was created out of the spirit. All things that are opposed to God's best for you can be changed by praying, meditating on, and renewing your mind with God's Word and will for your life.

Pick a scripture promise that is an answer to an undesirable circumstance in your life. For example, if you have a pain or a sickness, pick a healing scripture like 1 Peter 2:24, Jeremiah 30:17, or Psalm 103:2-5. Start by meditating one or all of these scriptures for a few minutes each day. The word meditate from the original Hebrew text means to "ponder and mutter (speak softly but out loud) repeatedly". Read them so they get in your eyes. Say them out loud so they get in your ears. Work up to several minutes per day. The more you focus on them, the more they get into your down into your soul so that when that knee pain strikes the first thing that comes out of your mouth are those Godly promises instead of some explicative that against His Word and will for you.

If you are in Christ Jesus, you have the same power inside of you that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of the Father. Activate that power by taking the TIME to speak faith-filled words over your life! Hallelujah!

Don't Let Depression, Anger and Sin Rule over You!

When GOD didn't respect Cain's offering, his countenance fell and he got angry - angry enough to kill his brother! GOD told Cain, "If you do well, shall it not be lifted up? And if you don't do well, sin couches at the door, and unto thee shall be its desire, BUT YOU RULE OVER IT"!

So, Cain was angry and depressed and he allowed his feelings to rule over him instead of ruling over them like GOD told him!

How do we rule over our emotions and the possible sin that we will commit if we let our emotions rule us?

Let's look at 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 - "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in GOD for pulling down strongholds, 5) casting down arguments (imaginations) and every thing that exalts itself against the true knowledge of GOD, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.."

Many times negative emotions start as thoughts in our heads. They are thoughts/arguments/imaginations that are exalting themselves against the true knowledge of what GOD says we are! Don't let them! Rule over them! Cast them down and bring them into capitivity to the obedience of Christ. How do we know what the obedience of Christ is? By "meditating on this Book of the Law day and night" (Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:2) By knowing what Christ has told us. And by meditating on these things: (Philippians 4:8) "whatever things are are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good virtue, and are praiseworthy..."

One way to do this is to start in the epistles to find out who you are IN CHRIST. Every verse that says, "In HIM, in WHOM, in CHRIST", etc. tells us who we truly are. If what you are thinking or feeling about yourself is contrary to what the WORD says, cast it out and down! Then fill your head with what GOD has said about you and go forth victorious!

You Can't Get Abraham's Blessing with Thomas' Faith

Romans 4:19 says, "And without becoming weak in faith he (Abraham) contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness or Sarah's womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able to also to perform". NAS Bible
The King James translation says, "he considered not his own body...neither the deadness of Sarah's womb". In other words, if you look at both versions, Abraham knew what God had told him; that he would be the father of many nations. But, he was 100 and Sarah was 90! He contemplated those "facts" for a moment, then came back to the Truth of God's WORD...he was to be the father of many nations! The bible goes on to say in verse 22: "therefore, it was reckoned (NAS) or imputed (KJV) or counted (NKJ) unto him (Abraham) as righteousness" for him to continue to believe what God had told him and NOT to consider the circumstances. He was walking by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Abraham "grew strong in faith" and "did not waver". These two actions say to me that growing your faith is a process; it doesn't happen overnight. But if you don't waver, in other words, listen to doubt and unbelief and start to think it and speak it, then your faith will continue to grow. Satan comes to steal the WORD (Mark 4:3-9, the parable of the sower). Our job is to continue to sow the WORD, (Mark 4:14) God's WORD, which is Truth (John 17:17), and not the world's words of doubt and unbelief.
As we continue in this way, the Blessing (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) comes and overtakes us (Galatians 3:14). We walk with the faith of Abraham, not the doubt of Thomas: Jesus said to him (Thomas), "Because you have seen Me have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed." John 20:29.
Every promise that God offers us is yes and amen, if we only BELIEVE.

Healing Prayer

Father, in Jesus' Name, I thank you for every promise that is yes and amen for me. I declare that Jesus bore my weaknesses; physical and emotional, and by His stripes I am healed. must leave! I declare that I am more that a conqueror in Christ and my faith has overcome this attack from the world. I will be strong in the Lord and the power of His might, not my own, to

Setting Goals

This outline can be used for any type of goal; physical, financial, weight loss, healing, addicition, whatever. Just like praying according to the WORD of God, goal setting according to the WORD is important for success. When you base your goals on God's way of doing things (Matthew 6:33), the spiritual realm comes into play, not just the mental. Many business workshops base their models on Biblical principles.

1.    Write clear-cut, tangible goals.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 - Write the vision and make it plain.

2.    Find scriptural back-up and personalize it.
Psalm 37:4-5 - I delight mself in the Lord and He will give me the desires of my heart. I commit my  way to Him, and I trust in Him, and He will do it.
Matthew 6:33 - I seek first God's way of doing things and all these things will be added to me.
Mark 4:14 - I sow the WORD into my life.

3.    Read them out loud several times a day.
Romans 10:17 - Faith comes by hearing.
Mark 11:22-24 - Speak to the mountain, ask for what you want, receive when you pray.
Proverbs 18:20-21 - Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
Romans 4:17 - Call those things that be not as though they were.
Jeremian 1:12 - The Lord is quick and alert, watching over His WORD to perform it.
Matthew 12:37 - By your words you are either justified or condemned.
Hebrews 1:13 - Our angels are here to minister to and for us.
Psalm 103:20 - Our angels can only work on our behalf if we are speaking in alignment with God's will/WORD.

4.    Thank God in advance for the manifestation. Praising Him in advance is the highest form of faith!

Remember:

Forgive others - Mark 11:22-24
Faith works by love - Galatians 5:6, Matthew 22:37-39
Do something every day toward each goal: visualize, meditate, affirm, action, speak, etc. James 1:23-26, Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, James 2:26

You can do it!

TAP the power

I recently heard a story about Oral Roberts.  GOD had revealed to Billye Brim (http://www.billyebrim.org/) that Oral Roberts had an uncanny ability to "tap" the anointing power of GOD, where so many of us simply "lap" (run around) the same power like a burning bush. I certainly have done that myself; talking about GOD's healing power and not TAPPING that power.

The woman with the issue of blood (Luke 8:43-48) made an effort to TAP the power of GOD. She did not quit making her way through the crowd until she TOUCHED the ANOINTING POWER (acnonym mine) of Jesus.

How do we T.A.P.? We:
1) make a decision that GOD's Word is truth (John 17:17)
2) continue to build our faith by hearing and hearing the Word of GOD (Romans 10:17)
3) apply Mark 11:23-25
4) "call those things that be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17)
5) continue to "walk by faith and not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7)
6) learn how to pray according to the Word, not the world (James 4:2-3)
7) stand until our victory comes (Ephesians 6:13)
8) tell our testimony, giving glory to GOD!

The amplified account of the woman with the issue of blood says that "she kept saying". This implies that this was a process that she was consistent in applying and she was determined not to quit till she got her victory! "With faith and patience we inherit the promises of GOD" (Hebrews 6:12)

Why don't I get my Healing?

God's Word is clear on healing. There are many scriptures that tell us that God wants us healed and that Jesus provided that healing for us on the cross at Calvary. (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm  107:20, Psalm 103:3, Matthew 4:23, etc., etc.)
So why is it that some don't receive healing when they truly want to be healed? One reason is because of the words they speak. Jesus told us we could have what we say (Mark 11:22-24). When we believe in our heart and speak out of our mouth, those words have power. Proverbs 18:21 and Matthew 12:37 tell us that "death and life are in the power of the tongue" and "by your words you are justified and by your words you are condemned" respectively.
Isaiah 58 tells of the house of Jacob complaining that they fast and sacrifice yet God was not paying attention to them. The prophet explains to them that it is because they are fasting with strife in their hearts, to exploit their laborers, and to "strike with the fists of wickedness". He goes on to tell them the fast God wants is to "loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free". He wants them to help those less fortunate. He then goes on to say that if they do what God leads them to do and "not speak and of your own (idle) words" then their healing will "spring forth speedily".
There are so many wonderful saints of God out there helping others tirelessly and sharing the gospel yet not receiving their own healing. Healing is a gift from God. It is there for the taking. Faith takes, faith SPEAKS. Having "faith in God" and the "God kind of faith" includes SPEAKING the way God speaks.
I encourage you to read the whole 58th chapter of Isaiah. It is another example of a blessed promise from God that we can walk in if we do it His way, not our way.

Some good prayers

Father, I know that You gave me the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16) and a spirit of strength and discipline (2 Tim. 1:7). Therefore, I boldly claim victory over overeating and eating the wrong foods for my body. I am more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37) over temptations to eat junk or to overeat. Your WORD says that You have given me a way out in tempting situations (1 Cor. 10:13). You satisfy my mouth (my necessity and desire at my personal age and situation) with good (Ps. 103:5) and I thank you for that good satisfaction NOW in JESUS' Name! AMEN

Father, Your WORD says that wisdom is the principal thing (Prov. 4:7), therefore I vow to get wisdom and understanding about things that pertain to my excellent health so that I can be strong, healthy, and energetic to fulfill Your plan for my life. I offer my body as a living sacrifice, which is my reasonable service (Romans 12:1). I desire to be willing and obedient to You, Father, (Isa 1:19) so that I know I will prosper in the plan You have for me. I submit myself to You and I resist the devil and he will flee from me (James 4:7). Thank You, and so it is for me in JESUS' Name!
