When setting and declaring goals, it has been said, "be careful who you share your goals with". Often times, when we share our plans with friends or family, they cast doubt and negativity at us! It is wise to share your dreams only with those special friends who you know will stand in agreement with you according to Matthew 18:19 - "Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven".
Fortunately, we have a promise of God about sharing goals and getting the support we need. Job 22:28 says, "Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; and the light shall shine upon thy ways". So, God shines His light upon our paths and helps show us the way to our goals and dreams. I like the next verse, too: "When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and He shall save the humble person". So, when your so-called friends and loved ones make fun of or tear down your dreams, know that God is there to lift you back up! I love that!

Starting Again
God is the God of second chances. And third, and forth! Praise Him!
I just got off the phone with a dear sister in Christ who called me looking for a certain type of nutritional supplement. Where did the conversation end up? On the WORD of God, of course!
People who know me can tell you that it doesn't take long for the topic to turn to Him. Am I bragging on me? No way! I'm bragging on Him and His ability to permeate every cell and fiber of your being. If you diligently seek Him, He is there ALWAYS!
So, after many months of not posting on my blogs, I'm so thankful that God has reignited in me the desire, energy, and testimonies to do so.
I encourage all who are seeking healing to remember who they are in Christ: you are the HEALED - and satan is trying to put sickness on you. No matter where you are along the path of healing or dis-ease, there is always a next, higher step. Continuing to speak the Word over yourself and your situation will get you to that next level of illumination. We are changed from glory to glory! If you are in the Word every day, you are always learning and growing! The glory and revelation you will be in today will be greater and deeper than where you were yesterday; that is when you continue to seek His ways and His thoughts.
Don't allow discouragement to overtake you. Whether or not you feel like it, praise His holy name and thank Him for your increasing understanding of the mysteries he has for you. His plan is good!
1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 55:6-12, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Job 22:28, Colossians 1:26-28

Where do you go for Healing?
When you are sick or pain, what is the first thing you do? The Word tells us to go to the elders of the church, the representatives of God. James 5:14 says, "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him." So, let's recap: 1) go to an elder of the church - this could be anyone in your life who is mature in the Lord; who knows what the Word says about health and healing (maybe the person writing this blog! :) ) 2) the elder is to pray over you - IN FAITH (key!) and 3) the elder is to anoint you with oil in the name of the Lord. The oil to be used can be one of the many oils mentioned in the oil: Frankincense, Hyssop, Myrrh, Spikenard, etc.
Under the old covenant, God's people cried out to Him and He heard their prayers (Psalm 18:6). He clearly states in Psalm 103:3 that one benefit of trusting in and blessing the Lord is healing of ALL your diseases. Psalm 107:20 and Proverbs 4:22 say that He sent His Word to heal us; that it is health to our WHOLE body!
Jesus told some people he healed to "go and sin no more". James 4:17 tells us that sin is something we know is right to do, but don't do it! So, once you are healed, keep your healing but changing your habits to conform with God's Word! You won't regret it!
Live in divine health!

Answers in Praise
"God inhabits the praises of His people" (Psalm 22:3)
If there are times that you have been praying about something and the answer doesn't seem to be coming any closer, try Praising God for the answer!
In Acts 13:2, Simeon, Barnabas, and Saul were ministering to the Lord and the Holy Spirit spoke. The word "ministering" in this instance means "publicly praising".
Later, while Paul and Silas were locked up in prison, they had prayed, but it was while they were singing praises that the angel shook those locks off their wrists and the doors and got them free! (Acts 17:24-25).
It has been said that praise is the highest form of prayer or faith. There certainly is great power in our praise, as God is right there as we are praising Him!

Simple vs. Easy
One paradox in life is the concept of "simple vs. easy". As a doctor of chiropractic, I learned over and over again that the truths of health are "simple" but not always "easy". Exercise more, eat better food, get your spine adjusted, etc...
God's commands to us are simple and straightforward. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" (Mark 12:30-31). "Call those things that be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17). "If any are sick among you, go to the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up"...(James 5:14-15).
Even if we know a simple truth, applying it isn't always easy; we tend to complicate matters by saying, "yeah, but..."
Why do we do that? Two scriptures come to mind: John 10:10 says that "the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; Jesus came that we might have life, and might have it more abundantly." and 2 Corinthians 10:5 says, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and BRINGING INTO CAPTIVITY EVERY THOUGHT TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST."
There is a thief out there. His name is satan and he wants you destroyed and dead. He knows that if you follow God's commandments, you will find out God's will and purpose for your life. He doesn't want that. He will do anything to stop the plan of God. Satan can only do to you what you let him do. He starts by planting images and thoughts of doubt and unbelief in your mind. If you don't know the Word of God well enough, you won't know to cast down those imaginations that are against God's Word and will. If you don't know if a thought is from satan, you won't bring it into captivity and it will grow into something bigger and bigger, getting you off track of God's plan for you.
There is a reason God told us to "not let this book of the law depart from our mouth, but meditate on it night and day..." Joshua 1:8, and to "renew our minds to the Word "(Romans 12:1). It's so we will know His Word, which is His will and speak and do it. If we let those imaginations and satanic thoughts take over, the simplicity of God's Word has lost its power.
Read the Word. Speak the Word. Do the Word. You will be blessed.

Prayers and Promises
The Word of God is full of promises for the believer. Every promise is meant to be prayed and every prayer should be based on a promise. When people came to Brother Kenneth Hagin for prayer, he would ask them what scripture they were standing on. Often they would say, "well, I just want good health in general." He told them if they were "general" in what they were asking for, then that's want they would get; something "general".
In Mark 4:14 Jesus said, "the sower sows the Word." When we come boldly to the throne of grace according to Hebrews 4:16, we are looking to obtain mercy and help in time of need. The help we need is in the Word. God is faithful and watches over His Word to perform it! (Jeremiah 1:12). It will not return void! (Isaiah 55:11)
So, if you are wanting God to help you with something, find the scripture that promises your victory. For example, if you need healing from fibromyalgia, first speak to it and command it to leave your body! (Mark 11:23). Then thank God for your healing by the stripes of Jesus according to 1 Peter 2:24. Don't waiver (James 1:6), and keep speaking it until you get your miracle!

One major key to healing
When your body is not acting healthy in accordance to the Word of God, speak to it! Command it to align itself to your covenant of health. You do your part, and God will do His part, according to every promise that your covenant outlines for you in His Word. Let the Word fight its own fight! Speak only the Word over your situation and watch It work on your behalf!
Father God, forgive me for saying things that were against Your Word contrary to the Bible, that were against myself. Forgive me for not monitering my mouth. Set a watch at the door of my lips lest I say something wrong. Check me, alert me, help me to be aware of it. I purpose to stop and to change. I say outloud - the Lord is my God! Nobody is greater than Him! Victory is mine! Healing is mine! Blessing is mine! Protection is mine! Fullness in mine! Abundance is mine! I will speak life and not death. I will speak victory and not defeat.
