The Many Names of God

When God told Moses to tell Pharoh that, "I AM sent you", what was God saying? He was telling Moses Who He is. Who God is is included in His seven redemptive names. They really speak for themselves:

Jehovah Tsidkenu - The Lord Our Righteousness (Jeremiah 23:6)
Jehovah Mkaddesh - The Lord Our Sanctification (Leviticus 20:8)
Jehovah Shalom - The Lord our Peace (Judges 6:24)
Jehovah Shammah - The Lord is Present (Ezekial 48:35)
Jehovah Jireh - The Lord our Provider (Genesis 22:14)
Jehovah Ropha - The Lord our Healer (Exodus 15:26)
Jehovah Nissi - The Lord our Banner (Exodus 17:15)

When we have a need, we can call on the Name above every name to guide us down the path of victory!

Today

I will

Meditate on

Eternity

God's Word is eternal. His Word is truth. What you choose to focus Your thought, faith, and action life on is what you will have. How much TIME do you spend pondering the circumstances of life versus meditating on God's Word, His truth, for your life? Since God's Word is truth, then any circumstance in your life that is contrary for God's truth, the highest truth possible, must be an untruth. Something that is untruth will be found out eventually. The physical world was created out of the spirit. All things that are opposed to God's best for you can be changed by praying, meditating on, and renewing your mind with God's Word and will for your life.

Pick a scripture promise that is an answer to an undesirable circumstance in your life. For example, if you have a pain or a sickness, pick a healing scripture like 1 Peter 2:24, Jeremiah 30:17, or Psalm 103:2-5. Start by meditating one or all of these scriptures for a few minutes each day. The word meditate from the original Hebrew text means to "ponder and mutter (speak softly but out loud) repeatedly". Read them so they get in your eyes. Say them out loud so they get in your ears. Work up to several minutes per day. The more you focus on them, the more they get into your down into your soul so that when that knee pain strikes the first thing that comes out of your mouth are those Godly promises instead of some explicative that against His Word and will for you.

If you are in Christ Jesus, you have the same power inside of you that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of the Father. Activate that power by taking the TIME to speak faith-filled words over your life! Hallelujah!

Don't Let Depression, Anger and Sin Rule over You!

When GOD didn't respect Cain's offering, his countenance fell and he got angry - angry enough to kill his brother! GOD told Cain, "If you do well, shall it not be lifted up? And if you don't do well, sin couches at the door, and unto thee shall be its desire, BUT YOU RULE OVER IT"!

So, Cain was angry and depressed and he allowed his feelings to rule over him instead of ruling over them like GOD told him!

How do we rule over our emotions and the possible sin that we will commit if we let our emotions rule us?

Let's look at 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 - "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in GOD for pulling down strongholds, 5) casting down arguments (imaginations) and every thing that exalts itself against the true knowledge of GOD, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.."

Many times negative emotions start as thoughts in our heads. They are thoughts/arguments/imaginations that are exalting themselves against the true knowledge of what GOD says we are! Don't let them! Rule over them! Cast them down and bring them into capitivity to the obedience of Christ. How do we know what the obedience of Christ is? By "meditating on this Book of the Law day and night" (Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:2) By knowing what Christ has told us. And by meditating on these things: (Philippians 4:8) "whatever things are are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good virtue, and are praiseworthy..."

One way to do this is to start in the epistles to find out who you are IN CHRIST. Every verse that says, "In HIM, in WHOM, in CHRIST", etc. tells us who we truly are. If what you are thinking or feeling about yourself is contrary to what the WORD says, cast it out and down! Then fill your head with what GOD has said about you and go forth victorious!
